Fall 2025 | Style Inspo
Summer lingered longer than usual here in Ohio. My old self would have reveled in the extra dose of heat and sunshine; my new self begged for cooler temperatures and navy blue starlit mornings. Holding my cup of tea while planning for a day of suede, cashmere, layers, and leather hits different than throwing on whatever I can find to keep cool. There are years I am more fit for the ease of Summer. Right now, I crave the creativity that comes with the cold.
My style for Autumn ‘25 is easily accessible to anyone regardless of budget or circumstance. Style reveals itself outside of the limitations of our pocketbooks - that’s one thing I love the most about personal fashion choices. It’s a language. Lately I speak ease and elegance. My bohemian pieces have been replaced with more tailored and timeless choices. I found a suede trench over at a favorite consignment shop that I will throw on over anything and I cannot wait to belt my vintage London Fog like the croc pic in my collage. Grays feel moody and familiar and I want it in all of its variations: wool, cashmere, silk, cotton. Kristy Hume with the black silk headscarf gives main character energy which is a priority in my life these days. Our clothes represent our present which honors our past which builds our future. A leading lady knows this. A leading lady dresses for this.
